So your thoughts on this? If you aren't aware, see her speech from the Golden Globes and CNN articles.

To be honest I'd prefer Donald Trump. After all, it was Oprah who gave us Doctor Phil and Doctor OZ. Then again Trump gave us Bannon. Hmmm. I think we can all agree there are better choices for both.

No. Choose something more logical for potus, for a change :)
Oprah - and other celebs like that facebook guy - suck as choices for potus.

Her heart may be in the right place, but imagine this: A president crying during a speech. That is something I can see Oprah doing, is that something you want a POTUS to do?

Why not? It would be unprecedented, but so was everything Trump has been doing. It's a legitimate human emotion. If it's something that's important, and she's passionate about, I'd understand it. Now if she was crying because her favorite sports team lost, then I'd be concerned. Or if she cried becomes Kim called her a Dotard, I'd be concerned.

And you imply Clinton has never cried. She is still living up to the image of not being a woman, but a robot. :)

I've never heard the robot thing, but Al Gore was accused of being too boring, so it's not limited to females.

I for one welcome America being transparent about the country mostly being a reality show in which gajillionaires control everything.

How about none of the above and we get a visionary politician who is intelligent, well spoken, and actually has some new practical ideas?

Great another dubious celebrity. Why would she be qualified?

Why in the world would you waste your vote on a party that has no chance of breaking ten percent of the vote? It is futile....millions wasted.

    Edit
Have you seen how ridiculous Hollywood is? They think Tom Hanks should be the VP. The Rock be in charge of Defense. They are turning it into even more of a parody than Trump has so far.

Hillary Clinton will be SO PISSED if another woman beats Trump, that alone might already be justification enough for Oprah to run.

I don't know any of her political stances so I can't say.

But I have heard some weird stuff about her spiritual views, that she subscribes to some kind of moral relativism, so that would probably be a no go for me.

I really doubt I will vote for trump either though. I guess we'll have to see how the tax bill affects the economy, how korea and the middle east and nafta play out. It's a little early to label his presidency as a success or failure.

It is all a big joke to Hollywood. Isn't that how we got Trump as president?

Oprah was practically discussing starting a new religion a few years ago. She is a kook but popular.

I would think atheists and antitheists would outright discard Oprah as a candidate.

Oprah is almost universally loved by the American people, why would she throw that away?

Good point, why trade that in for being loved by only half the people.

She might be deluded enough to think that she can actually change the country for the better.

Half? The rule of thumb is 1/3 love you, 1/3 hate you, and a 1/3 don't care.

Power is an aphrodisiac to some people. Who know why? It is a horrible job to be president. We haven't had a decent one in a long time. Just a bunch of liars.
