Honestly, I'm rooting for Hungary to win the war.

Watching the developers beat up on the AI isn't really that exciting either.

Some Ottoman troops have retreated from the battle near the city of Omasya despite taking no damage, not a good look.

What's up with the "books on the table is a hint for Phoenicia"? Can someone enlighten me?

The Akkad symbol seems to be based on the Nineveh bronze head that is speculated to depict Sargon:

Phoenicians invented a writing system using one sign for one letter instead of syllable or word.

Not impressed with the AI so far. Hungary had a load of troops yet didn't take a single hit point off the city it wanted to take.

Phoenicia gave us our alphabet. They were also famous for the production of papyrus. The city of Gebal produced so much papyrus that the Greek word for a small book (Biblon) was named after their word for the city Byblos. Biblon became the English Bible, but also the Romance words for book.

What else is new? That's why I stopped watching the stream. You know Hungary is going to lose due more to poor programming than to the unique abilities of the Ottomans.

Also, the word "Phonics" comes from "Phoenicia" Huh, apparently this isn't true and I've been lied to all these years :(

EDIT: "Hooked on Phoenicia" might make a good name for an achievement.

If there are clouds in the sky they affect the shade of the map.
