You can declare an emergency against a warmonger that captures another city? That's sweet, before it was only city states you captured.

No, Military Emergencies have been in since RnF. Not very common though.

In so many games, I'm in a non-military alliance with another Civ, then another Civ declares war on my ally, I get dragged into the war. Is that supposed to happen or is that a bug?

Alliances are automatically defensive pacts.

I didn't put together that laurier's agenda of wanting to join emergencies would mean canada would fight in a lot of wars. Seeing a few canadian knights coming down to defend hungary. very interesting stream so far.
