It is wonderful and I am glad!

I still love Civ. Especially Civ 1, and I wish more people still played it and participated in Civ 1 forum.

But Chess is my passion right now and I rejoice we have our own sub forum.

I still love Civ I & II (just got burned out from overplaying it). If you add up the hours I spent playing Civ I & II vs. chess Civ still probably wins by a hair (I started much earlier).

It only took Civ3 a year or so to eclipse my lifetime chess record. Primarily because it's so addictive I'd find myself still up at 5am, playing One More Turn.^TM

I haven't played many hours of Civ IV or of BTS, mainly because I find it so boring. I have probably put more hours into chess than it.
