palace upgrade

Not sure if this is a bug or something missing from user made scenarios as i haven't been playin C3C for long now. But my people don't offer to upgrade my palace. I always liked seeing my palace get built up in Civ 3.

There's an option to disable the palace screen that you may have accidently activated.

is it an in game option or one that you pick when making the map? I've noticed it's not happening in my COTM game either.

It may not be available in custom maps... i forget for sure.

I'm having this problem too. I've looked in the editor and in the game for an option to turn it off and on, but haven't found it anywhere. I miss my palace .

The Palace Upgrade feature is turned off for mods/scenarios. So if you're playing one of those, or one of the Conquests, you won't get that or the City View screen.

Has to do with what Firaxis/Breakaway could afford to get done in time. Didn't have money for both....
