The original of this game, although a buggy nightmare, once patched by the community was actually a fantastic game that still stands up today. And Paradox have seemingly decided to make a sequel and delve out of the strategy genre. Im quite intrigued i must admit.

I'm not quite crazy enough to pre-order it a year in advance, but I'm stoked.

I was hoping for a sequel for years, especially after the IP was bought by Paradox. Trying to contain my excitement until I see actual gameplay footage.
The different editions and pre-order bonus are a bit disgusting, but at least the pre-oder items seem to be only cosmetic. A season pass is pretty tasteless one year before release.
Anyway, if future preview don't look obviously terrible, this might be one of the very few games I'll buy on day one, or ever "pre-order" a day before the initial release.
