Again, one response: There are numerous historial records that there was a man named Jesus, descended from the line of David, who was hated by the Roman opressors and was crucified. One Roman historian of the time, named Josephus I think, wrote of Jesus in a fair and balanced view and of course he was ridiculed.

Also: Mel Gibson is gonna be one heck of a director. One person said he saw grown men crying, I don't know why there was a showing and where it was but I remember someone saying that.

I haven't seen the movie nor read much about it but I doubt that Gibson dealt with the essense of Christ as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Can anyone comment on this?

I hope there are some reallly cool fire fights & maybe a tank battle or two. I also hope that Jesus is played by Cheech & pilots a russian V-80, 'cause let's face it, if Jesus had a V-80, he would've had more followers.

I mean, it wouldn't be worth watching otherwise. Would it?
