Ever since Steam installed the new patch, I've noticed that the game won't exit memory when you leave it. I will close the game, but if you open task manager you can see it still in memory processes (usually taking up 438,000K). With it still sitting in memory, I can't restart the game until I end the process through task manager. Then it will restart.

I'm unable to duplicate this behavior with 1.0.0.62. Have you rebooted your system since installing the patch? If not, you might want to try that. I also suggest verifying the integrity of your game cache. 2K games recommends doing that if you have problems after installing a patch. Finally, if those suggestions don't help, how long do you wait after exiting the game? On my system, the game disappears from Task Manager, but it takes several seconds. Please post again if none of this helps. Do you have the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition (the one with Babylon)?

Update: I have the Standard Edition, and it seems to depend on how you exit. If you click the corner "X" then it hangs up (still in memory as I write this about 5 mins after exiting), while if you take all the steps of going back into the main menu and exiting through the menu choices it clears out.

So you're running the game in a window and using the Windows X control button to exit? I don't run the game in a window, but that doesn't seem to me like a good way to exit the game. I suggest that you exit using the game menu. Perhaps someone will come along and comment on this matter.
