Patches for SMAC?

Is there any patches avalible for the game? If so how many, are they culmative, etc?

There are patches for both smac and samc-x
The final version for smac should be 4.0
and for smac-x is 2.0, IIRC correctly you just apply the final patch showing that version number.
There are is a compatability patch at the Microsoft for WinXP

What is the SMAC alternate color patch?

edit: I have v1.0i and just downloaded v4.0 patch.

IIRC, It is for players with some sort of visual disability, lmaybe color-blindness.

I had a viewing problem; but gamma corection (what ever that is) fixed it. I have a bigger problem now. My patching didn't work. I am opening a thread. I hope you'all can help.
