Heres all the notes I was able to make off of the the gamespot video.

    Quests:
    1. Familiar Exoctics:
When we came to this planet, we brought a number of plants from old Earth. Somehow, one of these plants has taken place outside of Saira and turned invasive. If left unchecked it could convert the local environment into a more Earth-like ecosystem. Whether or not that is a good thing, must be decided…
    QUEST DECISION:
We still know so little about our new planet. If we allow this plant to spread, it could threaten our entire ecosystem. We will have to contain the outbreak.
    QUEST OBJECTIVE:
    Build Xeno Sanctuary in Saira

    2. For Your Eyes Only:
A mysterious encrypted transmission was received from an unknown origin. After some considerable effort, it has been decoded. The cleartext reads: “The Culper Cell requires infrastructure for covert operations. Should you choose to accept, you will be rewarded in time.”
    QUEST OBJECTIVE:
    Research Computing

    3. Occupational Hazard:
It’s clear that the indigenous species of this planet may pose a threat to our growth. Though we cannot determine their intelligence, their hostility has been documented. Moving forward, we must decide how to deal with them, do we attempt to domesticate the local wildlife or exterminate it?
    QUEST DECISION:
We should not be so quick to destroy that which we do not understand. Instead, let us build an Alien Preserve that we may study them and better understand their needs.
    QUEST OBJECTIVE:
Build 2 Alien Preserve Buildings (0 Built.)

    4. Cultural Burden:
Our Scientists have detected a weak radio signal nearby. Its signature is definitely human. We should investigate the signal’s source. There’s no telling what me may find.
    QUEST OBJECTIVE:
Build and Expedition at The Signal’s Source
    QUEST UPDATE:
We have located the signal’s origin- A probe belonging to the Polystralia crashed in a swamp of Xenomass. The Poystralia never reached our new planet and their status remains a mystery. Recovering the probe may provide answers to their ultimate fate. However doing so will likely contaminate the Xenomass, making the rare material unfit for use. Leaving the probe undisturbed will protect the potentially valuable resource.

    5. Worm Killing:
I traded my leg for my life when I met the Great Worm. Now, with all the fury and courage this cripple can bring to bear, I hunt, I hunt the Earth Drinker, I hunt the Worm.
Objective: Kill 1 Siege Worm (0 killed)

I'm liking the quests. I was thinking it would just be clicking a choice, but it appears that, once you choose your option, you have to go do something to bring it into fruition.

I like that a lot of buildings increase yield from various tiles and resources. This in itself may be a huge incentive to go tall rather than wide - since a colony with no buildings in it will be significantly less productive, even if it manages to grow to a large size.

Is that stage demo the same as the presentation in sasquatch theater? I know they said that the presentation would be available today so just checking. :)

No, this is some gameplay footage while the devs sit and chat with a guy from Gamespot right after the Mega Panel at Pax Prime. This was originally released a bit earlier as part of a longer vid called "Gamespot Live".

Anyone noticed that Harmony can teleport into enemy terrain, using similar shenanigans as Supremacy does? ;)

Anyone can teleport into enemy terrain with a Transport satellite

Supremacy is best since it goes to any source of Firaxite
    Purity next (best orbital coverage)

Yes, and Harmony is now better than both since they can place a teleporting satellite wherever they place the Roctopus! ;)

    Oh yeah missed that.

I'd put it about equal to supremacy though... Firaxite can be in the middle of enemy territory.... Your rocktopus needs to get there.
    (for teleporter usage that is)

IIRC the firaxite must be unclaimed for it to work? I can't really remember but I think they said that in the 3rd livestream.

It has to be unimproved Firaxite. The affinity Livestream showed that he could teleport to a Firaxite tile inside his neighbor's border because it was unimproved.

Do you start with the ability to embark? Or is it just a very early tech?

No, you don't start with the ability to embark but it is one of the very first techs you can research.

This is the first I've heard of Harmony's orbital layer extending to where a rocktopus is deployed (though it hardly surprises me that I might have missed something in the information deluge this week). Where was this seen?
