I think that we have already started and I would prefer to go on with the unperfect map...
Sure, I was just informing. He hopes to release update this weekend.
BTW, who has the file? Hercules?
Yes, I believe so.
Whoops GPS turn now sent to Mr Cameron
I never had this problem before... Emails from all the other players reach me rather instantly. But as of right now I got nothing ... Hercules do you know if your email provider has any issues with yahoo?
No it doesn't. I have resent in any case.
Ok, this is officially become pretty weird now! I know we had some problems before, but after every re-send I would get your email just fine. And now I got nothing, plus I cannot find any previos communications from you! I double checked all my blocked addresses, thinking I might accidentally mark you as a spam, but it would not show. However can you please send me a test email from any other account, or meanwhile post the save file here, so we could kick the can down the road while investigating this issue
Now I got the file Sorry for all this guys, I have no idea why we keep running into this problem...
GPS to Brazil!
BK posted a long awaited update. Culture problem is solved! Be careful not to update , otherwise our current games will not work!
While the original Yamato was still oil powered, the new Yamato II class will be powered by nuclear reactors. They will be formidable warships; the envy of the world, being still armed with 18" guns, but now using 21st century technology to take them well into the new century.
Drawing up plans for the construction of these mighty machines, have been developed in secret since the original Yamato was returned to Government hands a few years ago. The original plans for the Yamato were destroyed by the designers fearing that they would fall into the Allies hands at the end of WWII. However, with a full-size working example, drawing up the new plans for the Yamato II class, was relatively easy, albeit powered by nuclear reactors.
Large battle fleets based around these Yamato II class flagships, will ensure that no one dares to threaten Japan again. The make up of these battle fleets are as yet to be determined, but rest assured they will have the latest technology to repel all threats.
The new battleships will be named as follows; Yamato II, Musashi II, Shinano II, etc., in honour of the WWII battleships.
As to the construction of Nuclear Weapons, our constitution forbids this, so the world has nothing to fear as we are the only country to have had nuclear weapons used against us. We will however, use the technology to help our nation and while harnessing our new found Nationalism and pride, do not underestimate our resolve to make Japan strong and powerful once more.
OOC: My enthusiasm on Battleships continues.
The Yamato has now commenced on its "Goodwill Tour" of its allies. It is not going alone as it has some escorts as is appropriate for a ship its size. The world will be in awe of this mighty battleship as it enters the harbours of their cities.
Kiwitt - the turn you sent me is April 2010, which I already played. I should have a May 2010 turn... thanks!
Sorry - thinking too much on battleships, eh!
All the anarchy makes for quick turns! GPS!
GPS turn to Tigranes. Lets hope this one gets through.
Royal Navy pays a friendly visit to South American international waters. Looks like Brazilian explorers reached the edges of Antarctic! I wonder what did they find in that Goody Hut -- and who had built it anyway? There is no permanent population in Antarctica!
It seems that the UK has an unhealthy obsession for South America...
Onwards to the battleship-man!
Yamato has just finished its first goodwill visit. - Honolulu
As a sign of changed times, the old battleship was welcomed with huge crowds. Some even veterans of the WWII.
So the tour continues ... and now be good chaps and don't go invading Japan while the Yamato is on tour ...
