PC98 Graphics mod for Civilization for Windows

This is an attempt to port the little known PC98 units, terrain and city screen graphics over to Civilization for Windows. This was a Japan exclusive port to the PC98 series of home computers featuring unique 640x480 graphics as well as replacing the Zulus with a new Civilization, the Japanese. The sacrifice for getting that higher resolution is a much smaller colour palette, so there's a lot of dithering and other artistic trickery to work around this limitation. Hopefully by bringing this all over to the windows version, a few more people can appreciate this unusual port.

This version contains the following features.
-all terrain converted
-all unit art converted, including the PC98 colours for each Civ.
-all bonuses/overlays/improvements converted
-city screen matches PC98 colour scheme
-city screen improvements art converted
-bonus PC98 world map included (which connects Japan to mainland Asia).

Not included
-The Japan Civ has not been added in, this would be a lot of work (and limited by text having to match the original sizes).

As usual, to install backup your civdata4.rsc file and replace with the new one. If you want the altered world map as well, do the same for civdata0.rsc
