PCX Maker of the Month, August 2007 Jury thread

Since I'll be a be a bit busy the next few days I decided to end the competitions a few hours early. So here are this month's submissions:

Varwnos - 3d Byzantine Empire set

Varwnos. Pounder's work is great, like always, but Varwnos' is simply outstanding.

This would be more interesting if it was A vwarnos city competition.

Got to say i expected Pounder to enter his aaglo great wall as border though The rivers looks great as well of course.

The rivers area a genius idea, in that they make it look less like the river is floating above the underlays.

I had to go with Varw on this one, but Pounder`s work is awesome too! I`ll definately use it

Looks like another quick lead for Varwnos, I almost didn't enter at all.

I considered the borders as they were harder to make, but I thought that I would post something that was more likely to be used in a game, I randomly choose the rivers as I made above 7 or 8 different mods for the month.

I really wanted to enter my Balloons but there is no place to enter them.
