Still not feeling it for Songhai. Though I guess it's a tiny bit better than Germany's (I really dislike Germany's).

And finally, I get to vote for Arabia. The moment I played as them, I fell in love with the theme. Starts out slow, but soon becomes fast and really catchy. Took me a while to realize that I like it so much though, much like this vote. ;p

Korea- 20-3=17 some Korean commentators on the youtube video said that this is not really Korean music, I agree. It sounds really similar to Chinese music at times. It also diverges from the original Arirang song, but not in a great way for me.

This theme literally reinforces Maria Theresa's role as Civ 5's spoiled brat.

So even though this one sounds a little threatening for a peace theme, I think it does an excellent job of helping establish the personality that exists around Shaka.

China (Gao Shan Liu Shui)- 20+1=21 I think this was a good fit for Wu Zetian, it is based on a melody played mostly on a guzheng by women, a nice fusion of Chinese and Western instruments

Siam (Northern Thai Melody)- 20-3=17, an okay theme, but it was taken from a book on Southeast Asian music, so the composer never even heard the real melody, he just used the music notes and diverged a lot based on other Thai music he heard before, I rather he picked a melody most Thai people are familiar with, plus Rammy's theme is kinda short

Babylon- 2 - Mm. I feel like Babylon is an empire in Nebby's imagination while he is locked in a room. I expect more from music of the civ named "Babylon". I actually quite surprised to see America go first. It's not good. But it's not THIS bad.

    Gone Babylon
+1 Carthage, oldest melody nicely modified to blend with the starry Mediterranean sky. This has to be the best leaderscreen-music synergy.
Comment about England music, its great and I would have vote for it every time but I do no appreciate the composer quoting heavily from Jupitor with barely any variation. It feels like I will be voting for how great Jupitor is and not the English peace theme.

Question what don't you like about Byzantium's music give us more of a reason than "I just don't like it."

Use pm to ask personal questions. but, I'll give the answer of your question. I don't like byzantine music because I'm not a fan of their music. That's the reason why I gave (-) to byzantine.

Austria - Even though I find the civ kinda interesting, I've never actually gotten past the early game thanks to this theme. It just annoys the crap out of me with its fanciness. I will say that it suits Maria Theresa very well though.

England - On the opposite side this theme is what makes me pick England. Makes me swell with pride and I'm not even English, such an emotional piece.

Celts- 18 (I probably don't know nearly enough about Celtic music, but I just don't feel this theme is what I want to hear for this civ. It's not bad, but I had to choose something and am reluctant to choose the same civ for downvoting twice in a row, and I just like the others more.)
