PEBM PTW -- Conquest

Hi,
Did some of the new Conquest player's was playing PEBM with PTW and change to play with Conquest ?
What's happening in this case ? Does the civ like Celtes take the new attributes or ?
Did you install Conquest in a different folder to make it work with PTW ?

I play PBEM's with PTW and as soon as it arrives in the UK I will play with Conquests. I think it will install to a sub directory of your Civ3 install just like PTW did - I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.


If you have existing PBEM games I would finish them in PTW, unless you are willing to take a risk and see what happens. Maybe someone else can say if saves are compatable.

According to the readme.txt on the CD, you can load PTW saves into Conquests (but not vice versa). This might lead to some odd situations in advanced games (many ancient wonders newly appear as possible). I'd recommend against it, personally, as anything other than an experiment.

To whom installed Conquest ! what is the path of installation ?
Could you still launch Civ3 PTW ?

Regor, you can definitly still play PTW when Conquests is installed - I don't need it to tell you that!
