PediaIcons and the leaderhead icons

If my scenario doesn't include any possibility for a cultural or diplomatic victory, do I still need to include the file paths for the icons required for those (the ones with the hearts and kisses and all), or can I leave them out without the game exploding when I try to load the scenario?

I have some partialy finnished mods that i play through to the end and it doesn't crash untill it goes to look for the victory file at the end of the game ,so you should be fine...
