Pedo Book.

Free speech good. Censorship bad.
This. Also, the CNN link has a video to Dr. Phil.

Let's keep our priorities straight here, people.

Seriously this is disturbing. I just love this quote. "True pedophiles love children and would never hurt them." Charming.

That reveals how low We$tern liberastic society sank:gripe:

Just saw this on the news. I dont know enough about the contents of the book to make a call. If it was my website though, I probably wouldnt sell it.

Not selling something isn't the same as censorship.

It is a little disturbing to see someone defend pedophilia especially if it is forced.

However, the people calling for the boycotts were out of line. Just don't buy the damn book if you find it morally objectionable. There are plenty of other things that can be bought on amazon that may contradict some peoples morality so organizing a boycott is just lame, silly and unneeded.

Apparently, it's been removed now.

Yeah selling a how to guide for future stars of a Chris Hanson special isn't anything to get worked up over. It's not like "loving" children in that way is a crime or anything.

Isn't a boycott just a bunch of people who aren't going to buy the damn book? Maybe they are different because they announce why they aren't going to, but its not like boycotts will magically include people who intend to buy the book. And if they want to boycott all of Amazon for associating themselves with the book (pretending that they still were associated with it), that would be a matter of personal choice, yes? Like boycotting any other organization which affiliates itself with an entity to which an individual may be opposed.

Also, kudos to Amazon for pulling the book. That isn't censorship, that's a private organization deciding not to affiliate itself with that garbage, as has been said.

:vomit: Let 'em buy it and then put a cop following each buyer even into the loo. Well, perhaps not into the loo.

It should definitely be censored, to [hell] with freedom of speech. Though I have no doubt the usual 'OMG I'm so controversially socially liberal' quasi-philosophers will tell me how evil it would be to not allow this child rapist's guide to be published.

Agreed.

Wait, we got a dude here, who lauds books condoning the criminal activity of revolution, asking why books who condone other criminal activities should be legal?
