Well, isn't THIS an interesting thread...

You, my friend, are an evil Nazi. What do you think you are saying? If you hate them, just print pictures out of them and stab em'!

Though Oprah Winfrey gives me the creeps...

Come on ohwell, calling him a Nazi is a little strong. I think he means it as mostly a joke. Think of it as a funny way of saying how much he hates these people.

The only people I want to put in a concentration camp are people that want to put people in a concentraton camp.

Perhaps, but It IS in the Off Topic area, and I don't see any smilies... I severley frown upon people saying they hate people this much. I am sure he doesn't, just he thinks that they are annoying. I think so too! Sorry, had a bad day... But you should never joke about this stuff...

But, next time, if this is a joke, please put it in the Humor Forum so I will know... Please...:)

BTW, some of those people are VERY annoying IMHO. "People of Beverly Hills"

I don't know, saying you want to put a religous group in a concentration camp isn't all that funny. How well would the joke be recieved if it said Muslims or Jews?

Probably not very well, but I think that is more of a problem with the reader than the poster. I think people are too sensitive about events that happened generations ago. If it was something that happened recently, eg. a thread called "People that I would like to put into a plane and then ram into a building", I would think that was in bad taste, but we are talking about long past events. Too many people with skin that is too thin.

Didn't see that! Nor did I see the word "faggot" Gothic Punks. This reminds me of the when the Nazi's put the Gypsies and the gays in the consentration camps. Just because they don't please you doesn't mean they should die... I can understand extreme hatred of an induvidual, but never a group. That to me is Nazism.

An example- Hating George Bush is alright, he is an induvidual. Maybe you hate him because he is stupid, and evil, and warmonger, and psyco, and rich, and conservative, and, Well, that might be your idea of him ( A little extreme, but a good example nontheless) , that is ok, but If you said you Hated Texans, that is not good, he is only one of them.

I am sure you heard the expression "Never judge a book by it's cover" or something along those lines.

It doesn't matter if it is a planecrash, or a consentration camp, or whatever. It is very wrong, and I am not going to say Nazi anymore because many nations and groups have done things like this. The matter is he is hating groups, and wants them dead, or whatever. It doesn't matter how... If he said "I want them to be smashed by trains" I would take it the same way.

I am long over past events, in fact, I nearly forget about September 11 without going to these forums...

I would add "people who refuse to use their turn signals" to the concentration camps.

I came to this thread getting ready to post that the only people I wanted put in a concentration camp were...

And look. Beaten to the punch.

:goodjob: Great, Knowltok.

I have to tell, you guys, in the past couple of weeks, I've read about a guy searching for Hiroshima so he could nuke it, I've read Redwulf's historically challenged thesis on the joys of national socialism, and now this; I'm beginning to worry about the mental state of the average civfanatic. :suicide:

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses....I find your post both offensive and disturbing.

What have we ever done to you? Ok, I understand maybe you dont agree with the fact that we will come to your door and try to preach to you about what we believe. Is that it?

Well, think of it this way. Our purpose is to try to live decent and moral lives and to ask everyone else to do the same. You make your own call. And then we are going to wait and see what God is going to do.

But to condemn us to concentration camps? I got news for you. You've been beaten to it. Hitler put thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses in his camps. If you dont believe me, look up info on purple triangles, that was the insignia sewed on Witnesses prison uniforms...you know like the yellow star for the jews? Well, I'm sorry you want me locked up in one of those Nazi death camps...and i'm sickened at your callousness. Those places were the most evil thing man has thought up. Maybe your post was a joke....makes you wonder about some people.

=(

We may have unresolved issues when it comes to coffee outlets, but I am glad to see that when it comes to something like this, we are in agreement.:)

Stay tuned on "my theories on why Ortodox jews can't play golf"

I have to agree with Lian Purge's comments on Jehovah's Witnesses. The worst they ever do to anyone is to ring doorbells at inconvenient times. If you say "I don't want to talk to you about God," they will go away. If you do want to talk to them, and don't act like an a**hole, you might actually have an interesting conversation.

I will talk to proselytizers of any religion. I've had some very stimulating and worthwhile talks with Catholics, Baptists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Unification Church (Moonies!), Jews for Jesus, and Objectivists, to name just a few. None of them have converted me yet. (To be fair, I haven't talked any of them out of their beliefs either.)

Yes, people are too sensitive about the holocaust of 6 million jews. they shouldnt be sensitive about that, it was more than 50 years ago! instead they should be sensitive about the death of 3400 americans. yup, that was only a few months ago. something that happened a few months ago in about 1/2000 the amount but happened lately is much more severe than something that happened to *2000 the amount of people 60 years ago!
[/CYNICAL]

I am sorry if it bothers you PH76, but half my dads family died in the holocaust. Its still bothers me, and bothers me a lot, and no, I havent got the skin to bear the fact that 6 million jews died and people use it for jokes, and sit quiet.
PaleHorse76, tell me what is the basic difference between the WTC Event and the Holocaust?
Victims of the holocaust are not alive anymore? Families of these victims are not alive anymore? The fact that it happened 60 years ago makes it less severe?

I'm sorry if I am harsh to say what I am going to say, but I think something in your logic is horribly twisted.

Who is anyone to determine what issues and events should and should not evoke a sense of sadness and loss from a person? Honestly :(
