Petition against a 1 unit per tile rule.

I'd vote for some kind of stacking limit. Large stacks of units are not only silly, but make combat tedious and repetitive. If it turns out that the stacking limit is one, I suppose that would mean they've playtested it and it seems to work. I certainly wouldn't vote against it without trying it.

I will NOT sign this petition.

I'm sure there are more changes to the game, and we won't see a remake of Civ 4 with hexes and a unit limit pr hex. Firaxis have surely playtested quite a bit already, and will continue to do so up until release (and probably even after). If they find that such a limit doesn't work in the context of the other gameplay mechanics, they'll obviously change it. They aren't trying to make a bad game.

Opinions about what's good/bad in the game will have to wait until I know what the game is like, from my part.

I, personally do not like the idea of a 1 unit per tile rule.
Ah the truth surfaces. Always a good reason: I don't know anything about it I don't know how it will work but I know already I don't like it

I don't mind if you write posts contrary to my opinion, but do not assume I am just making a knee-jerk decision.
But you do. Making a decision knowing nothing about the game knowing nothing about how this rule will work and what effects it will have and how is implemented but already being against it is nothing but a knee-jerk decision.

I have thought about how a one unite per tile rule would change the game, and in my opinion it would make the game less fun. It would be a clumsy and stupid way to fix the SOD problem.
How can you form an opinion that?? Based on what facts?? How do you know which way this rule is implemented, how do you know the way this rule will alter gameplay/civving? You don't ? But already up in arms against it? Knee-jerk is already a far too nice word.
