Anybody play this? This is THE most awesome city-building sim.

I've grown a Palacial Estate. The biggest home in Egypt! :D

You get to build an ancient Egyptian city! :goodjob:

I used to play it, pretty good. Have you tried out Emporer: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, Caesar, and Zeus. They are basically the same thing with Ancient China, Ancient Rome, and Ancient Greece, respectively. I liked Zeus the best as it allowed for lots of interaction between city-states.

I have Caesar 3, have demos of Pharaoh and Rise of the Middle Kingdom, but haven't had the chance to play Zeus. :(

I have it and I have Caesar III, they are both very good.

Zues is awesome, i like the fighting in Ceaser 3 the best though, as it has a huge assortment of enimies, Pharaoh, and its ex pack are great to, i just wish in the editor you could change the standerd egyptian troops to ceasers legions like they have in a scenario

Are all these games just like sim-city for different civilizations with a few variations?

in a way, but not nearlly as open ended as sim, and MUCH more fun to play, I suggest a demo for pharaoh, and ceaser, but not zeus, as it might give a false impression of it havin bad sound/ graphic quality, which it has a superb form of in the full game

Pharaoh's great... Just staring at the Pyramid at Hetepsensusret after spending countless hours toiling through the game is incredibly rewarding.

I liked It very much, very very very much (though Zews is even better to me :))
There was a problem,..a SERIOUS problem in Pharaoh - it's nearly impossible to wait for so long when you're building a great Pyramide or smth like that . Once upon i time I've chosen "The pharaon's tomb" mission,..... five hours later I was sorry for my choise.

I've heard of those but haven't played them. But I've played Caesar II. Had it since I was seven. Very fun, but incredibly hard. All my life I've only beaten two levels. :p

I don't own Pharaoh. Just borrowed it for a couple of weeks.
