So recently I ran into this reddit thread:

Long story short, when your capital gets captured, the palace will move to the city with the biggest population remaining, everyone knows this. It gets interesting when the original one gets recaptured, the palace will not move back, resulting in you having 2 Capitals: one called Original, the other New. The Original one is the one designated for Domination Victory, of course, but the New one keeps the Palace and will get everything that comes with the Palace, Loyalty bonus, city state bonus at 1 or 2 Envoys, etc.
The real question is: If Dido runs into this situation and runs her Move Capital project, which one will move? Since this is my favorite civ, I'll probably host a hotseat game and find out later, to add to the wiki page as well, but I think I just ask in case someone else already experienced this
