They need to go to the library and check out the "Phoenicia's Greatest Hits" compilation tape. It's just not a first for civ, they've used the hurrian hymn to nikkal before.
I think it was said at some point that while being an original, it was inspired by it. It was in civ V as well (for Babylon iirc?).Sumeria's Ancient has a feel of the first notes of the Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal too.

I believe Ur city state jingle from Civ V sounded very similar to theme of Sumer in Civ VI, too.Hymn to Nikkal was the basis for Carthage AND Babylon's theme in Civ 5, as well as Gilgamesh in Civ 6
As long as it's not being performed by NikkalbackHymn to Nikkal was the basis for Carthage AND Babylon's theme in Civ 5, as well as Gilgamesh in Civ 6
But because the Hymn itself is open for interpretation, you can actually come up with 4 themes that are distinct from each other.
I hoped for something like that. I just thought they would use a bottle of brownish water and call it aqua tan.So. A bottle of water in front of the globe. Is that an "Aqua-taine"-joke?
