this music discussion is pretty interesting
So, nothing new yet.
It's just not a first for civ, they've used the hurrian hymn to nikkal before.
I really like the music playing ATM.
Sumeria's Ancient has a feel of the first notes of the Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal too.
Hymn to Nikkal was the basis for Carthage AND Babylon's theme in Civ 5, as well as Gilgamesh in Civ 6
But because the Hymn itself is open for interpretation, you can actually come up with 4 themes that are distinct from each other.
So annoyed they didn't show the Nazca Lines bonus though
They need to go to the library and check out the "Phoenicia's Greatest Hits" compilation tape.
I think it was said at some point that while being an original, it was inspired by it. It was in civ V as well (for Babylon iirc?).
I demand that this becomes an achievement.
I believe Ur city state jingle from Civ V sounded very similar to theme of Sumer in Civ VI, too.
Carl founds a city that has only 1 hill in it's entire radius and the devs are like "that's a pretty nice city."
What's that +3 era score for settling Sidon? It said something like Sidon is your latest city, other civs are in awe. Is that when you settle more cities than anyone else?
As long as it's not being performed by Nikkalback
I'll show myself out.
New Multiplayer mode: play by cloud.
So. A bottle of water in front of the globe. Is that an "Aqua-taine"-joke?
I hoped for something like that. I just thought they would use a bottle of brownish water and call it aqua tan.
The new menu screen looks... odd
Play By Cloud is great news!
