I like that they accidentally kept audio going after Pete cut it short.
"We had nothing else to talk about"
Used to be an economic policy
I asked a question in the chat room on Twitch were there AI improvements in GS but got no response.
It's good that there will be new policy cards introduced in GS. I reckon a good amount of new policy cards will be introduced due to all the new systems and mechanics.
Probably for another video.
Did they spoil Eleanor with the mic accident?
Hahaha that’s hilarious!
I mean I get it, they’ve pretty much covered every mechanic, the Let’s Plays are uncovering the minutiae and Dido herself doesn’t really completely alter the game (aside from being a literal plague, I loved it)
But definitely awkward, bet we see Sarah next week
I didn't see any AI planes. Disappointing.
lol good stream! I think Pete's doing a great job, though it would've been smoother if they had cut out the audio. I enjoyed the MySpace joke too.
They didn't say anything about new leaders.
I like the change to the Science Victory. I was hoping for something more active, like the old Civ 1 system where you built competing racing rockets, but I never expected the dev team would go in that direction.
This is even better than the Civ 1 system, as you can affect the speed of your ship after it's launched. And affect the speed of the opposition ships as well by, you know, "interfering".
If the AI is even half ways competent, Science Victories may be a lot of fun to go after.
Very much into this. I think I will play my first multiplayer game of Civ6 soon. I never was interested before, but now I am.
more military cards that aren't just "+X% production to Y unit" is a good change.
This... totally !
Okay, so exactly how are you supposed to be shooting a laser from Earth to a ship light years away? I would hate to be a bird or airplane that accidentally flies through that. The one in orbit makes a bit more sense.
At least they didn't say anything too embarrassing at the end, at least I don't think so.
So much information to process. A lot of cool stuff this stream. I feel like the game has changed a lot, and that's good. Will take a while to learn. Where as Rise and Fall was fairly easy to learn.
I would like to play Civ 6 online too. I had an online friend that I used to play Civ 5 with (he actually brought me back into 5 after I had tried it on release and took a step back). Multiplayer is quite fun, though it's a lot more warlike, at least in 1v1s. Reminded me of my attempt I think it was in Civ 3 when suddenly I realized people are very serious about making units
Funny enough that's the last multiplayer civ I've played. I hope that wasn't you I smashed with Horsemen, would be a weird coincidence if it was. It was a little too fast paced for my tastes, though I did win with my horseman rush. I retired at 1 and 0. PBEM or I should say PBC is more my tastes since I can play slower.
I think it will be a very popular feature. I wonder if they waited this long to reveal because they added it late, or because they weren't sure if it'd be "ready" by release.
it is from a Kim Stanley Robinson novel Aurora
