A guy I know has offered to send me a Soviet book and I'd like it to be voted on 'cause DEMOCRACY or something.

How it works is simple: you look at the list of books below and choose up to three of them you'd like to see scanned. Voting ends on January 1. If the winning book is bought out by some random human being before that date (these are fairly cheap books after all) then the second entry in the list is chosen.

You can find the books I've already scanned in the past here: https://archive.org/search.php?query=uploader:"kocotosi@gmail.com"&sort=-publicdate (it's also where future book scans will end up)

Anyway, onto the list:

* The Soviet Court (1973)
* Developing Nations at the Turn of Millennium (1987)
* Lenin the Great Theoretician (1970)
* The Races of Mankind (1966)
* Marx, Engels, Lenin: On Historical Materialism (1976, compilation of their writings, 750 pages)
* Mao Tse-Tung: An Ideological and Psychological Portrait (1980)
* The Fundamentals of Political Economy (1983)
* Soviet Financial System (1966)

* Culture and Perestroika (1988)

I'd like to see On the Foreign Policy of the Soviet State, Logic and History of the Usa Since World War I

I like to read:

Logic (1989, on the philosophical concept)
An ABC of Planning (1982)
The International Working Class Movement, Problems of History and Theory: Volume 1, The Origins of the Proletariat and Its Evolution as a Revolutionary Class (1980)

Roadside picnic
Life and Fate

nvm, read the op wrong though it was Russian books he would read.

Cities without Crisis (1976, CPUSA journalist reporting on Soviet cities, put out by Soviet publishing house)
Are our Moscow Reporters Giving Us the Facts About the USSR? (1981, another CPUSA journalist work put out by Soviet publishing house)

These seems interesting.

Plenty of good titles. My vote goes for Soviet Financial System.

A total of 170 people voted from 14 different places. I've duly emailed the person and will see if he either buys the first option (assuming the price didn't jump up), the second, or both.

I missed this thread, sadly. I would have voted for Communist Morality and History of Religion. The Soviet Parliament (A Reference Book) might have been interesting as well.
