Am finally processing the latest donations to the scenario preservation project from a couple of donors including @St. Leo and finding all sorts of interesting stuff.
First of all St Leo has a copy of the original pitch document by Cam Hills for Civ2 Scenario League at Apolyton which I've attached to this post. He really breaks down the whole thing over 3 thousand words and is a fascinating read to see where things began. The document references an original pitch by a El Khan that sparked a discussion leading to the creation of this document. No doubt some of you guys were part of that original discussion and will enjoy the reminiscing!
Secondly another donor has a backup of the entire old online Civ2 SL scenario creation design tips guides. I think most exist on the current day wiki site but there's a few I haven't seen before that include an example alien invasion scenario to play with. I've attached the zip to this post as well, just extract it to a folder and open the tips_main.shtml file to browse the old site!
