Authorities in Germany name arrested alleged members of all coup plot
German police staged nationwide raids on Wednesday and arrested 25 people suspected of belonging to a far-right "terror cell" plotting to overthrow the government and attack parliament.

In short:
Germany has some alt-right scene, which consists out of anti-covid nutjobs, nazis, and also the "Reich citizens". The latter consider themself to be citizens of the German empire, and deny that the current state of Germany rightfully exists. They claim that the constitution is unlawful, try to not pay taxes, and just everything to not recognize the state.
Today more than 3000 police officers searched 130 sites in Germany, Austria and Italy, due to a planned coup. Apparently the nutters planned to install the 13th (or 113th, or 213th, apparently they re-number every 100) heir of a minor Thuringian noble family as the new head of state.
So far, so crazy.
Concerning is that one of the persons arrested is a former member of parliament, belonging to the far-right "Alternative for Germany" (AfD) party, currently serving as a judge.
Otherwise I'm surprised about the amount of people involved. I wonder if a half-year later we'd have had an actual coup attempt.
