Play 18 civs (Civ 4) without americans?

I'm not someone who craves for total realism, but the Earth 18 civs-scenario (which is great generally) really lacks it too much when you can play as americans in 3000 BC.

Is there some way to remove them from the scenario?

I could play Rhyes And Fall, which seems to be a great mod, but the difficulty setting is too high, and I don't want any other victory conditions than conquer. So that's another question, is it possible to disable the new victory conditions of rhyes and fall? And are the difficulties in that mod easier than the same difficulties in vanilla?

Thankful for any help.

Worldbuilder ----> delete (it's not like you don't already know this particular map).

You can text edit the WB file to remove them or switch native america in also.

Though, I'd still like to know if it is possible to delete the new victory conditions of Rhyes and Fall? It's so much better in other aspects than the Earth 18 civ-scenario.

I just want Conquest, Space Race and Cultural.

Thanks

Well the point of the mod is to provide a accurately historical game play. Letting the player play their favorite civ in its actual timeline. If you want a good Earth scenario in which you can change the victories, I'd point you towards GEM or Earth 34 .
