Play Now option greyed out

I had CivIV working on a Windows 7 rig quite happily until recently when I got the "error loading shaders" problem.

I sorted this and the game now loads.

However, when I load a mod that used to work (I only have one mod, being a lowly sort of guy), the option 'play now' is greyed out, so is 'custom game'.

Apologies if this problem has appeared elsewhere.

All suggestions gratefully received.

AAAH!

The 'similar threads' option at the bottom brought up a thread called:

Making Mod! "Play Now!" Greyed Out! More at 11!

which had the answer - a change to the ini file.

There you go.
