I am definitely hoping to play some. You see, I really want to finish my current emperor game. I started it nearly two months ago, and I just haven't had a lot of free time. I'm trying to set a personal record for highest score, or otherwise I could have ended it long ago. I'm in 1930, so not too much longer, hopefully...

I won't be. I decided to hold off on anymore Civ until the next patch with all the new goodies and fixes is released.

I was leaning more towards January.
At least I hope so. 
I think Jesse (Tavis) said that the final 1.12 patch was going to be out in June, with updates monthly until may, when the code gets locked down.
Personally, I'm at 1.12, and I don't see many problems with it. Sure, the FP is a bit of a nuisance now, but I kinda like the direction it's going in.

Not me. :-/ I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was playing Sid Meier's SimGolf and reading John Grisham's Bleachers...
But I made up for it, I convinced a friend to buy Civ3 (he bought gold) and I even taught him how to play it.

You sure about that? My girlfriend's son (6 year old) thinks it looks dumb and boring, but he loves watching me play the "gun game" (Call of Duty).
My girlfriend also hates it and wonders why I play it. Well, actually she just hates my computer. Similar threads
