does anyone know if its possible to play MGE across the net between a Windoze box and a Mac box?

Yes, I have a PC and currently play with a friend of mine who has a Mac.

Works fine for me too, one thing though:
When playing MP scenarios you have to make sure that the filepath is not only exactly the same but that it is first civilization II files>scenarios>foldername
Aparently this is due to the over zealous programers who ported the game (they did this since the PC version is supposed to demand that filepath but in reality does not).
