Playing world map without barbarians?

I love playing on the world map scenario, but I hate playing with barbarians. How can I play with this exact world map without barbarians?

yes, the custom scenario option in ver1.61, you can select no barbs, it's very helpful, siberia and africa produce a lot of barbs, it gets very annoying otherwise.

Why would you want to deny yourself free XP?

just play the earth map in marathon as genghis or hatshepsut, you'll find the barb issue becomes very distracting.
