Please give us a strategy subforum!

I think it is about time. Especially with the recent trend for strategy topics i feel there should be a subforum for the discussion of the bottomles depths of singleplayer and multiplayer strategy.

This mod is very popular and there are a lot of suggestions, game mechanics questions of just fun topics. This is allright yet it makes sure interesting strategic topics will disappear in the deepts of the forum very soon.

I want a place where we can argue about the benefits of different early tech routes, post gides about civs or basic strategy and all that stuff.

I want a place where new players can go and read up the opinions of more experienced players and maybe toss in a thought too.

I want a place where is some space for some new sticky topics ( and i am quite sure it is only a matter of time untill there is sticky worth material) without resulting in the first two pages of the forum containing of stickys.

So i beg you, give us this place where the warmongers and empire builders those who like to play vs tha AI and those who love to give their friends a good taste of the old pwn can share their thoughts experience and opinions.

Or get some forum mod to create this.

Well, an alternative to a strategy forum could be one stickied post with links to all the other strategy threads in this forum so that they don't get lost. That would be even easier to organize.

I think i strategy subforum would be reasonable.

I concur. Now the design, suggestions, oftopic, etc get mix up with topics for strategical talk. Sooner or later these topics land on the second page and then comes another person and starts a topic for things that a discussion was not so long very active.

A new strategy and balance sub forum would be nice. This sub forum is the most visited mod sub forum, I say it deserves a special treatment

I don't see how having a forum for bugs is much of an improvement over a forum thread dedicated to bugs.

Thunderfall created the strategy forum for us (thanks Thunderfall!).

Any thread author can move his thread into the stategy forum if he wants.

Lets see how much activity the strategy forum gets first, if it does well we can look at others (im worried that by breaking it off as a seperate forum it will lose a lot of its activity).
