I stopped my workstation folding a month or so ago because F@H wasn't accepting the results. I should probably investigate, hmmm?

What do you mean by "not accepting"?

Did the upload not work or were the points not credited to you?

Upload didn't work. I'll let it run again and get the exact error/response...

Okay, this one I initiated last night worked, and the points are showing up on the status page. :crazyeye:

So, we're off and folding again. I suppose at some point soon I should resurrect the Foldbeast...

F@H seems to have server problems more than you would think they should. They usually blame Stanford IT but who knows. My unsupported speculation is that they are great with proteins but perhaps not so great with servers.

Good to see you back. :)

Just a quick :goodjob: to Naskra for taking the crown for total points earned on TeamCFC with thirteen million and change. Sahkuhnder who has had that lead for quite a while now falls to second place. And I suspect Furiey will be passing me for third place in a few months.

There is some very exciting stuff in the works right now. If you have more links to cool advances they are always welcome.

My congrats as well to Naskra. :)

Upgraded proc to i2500k and win 7 (which seems to multitask so much better then xp did) so I've fired the folding back up. Listen to those capacitors on the video cards sing.

1: Depends on how big your system is in power consumption and how much CPU-time you allocate to the client.

    2: Yes

    I'm glad I don't pay for utilities.

So last night I closed my laptop and went to sleep as usual, but then when I woke up my laptop fan was going flat out and my switchable GPU was folding away. I'd prefer it if this just used my CPU, so my GPU could remain off. Is there a way to do that?
