[R&F] Polders

    Guys I was playing the Netherlands several times and despite that lovely polder porn screens above (as beautiful as rare) I still think polder needs a buff. Lately announced one will not make them OP for sure. Grote Rivieren will remain a Dutch main strength.

    I feel like I'm the only one here the doesn't like polders - they clutter up the nice coastal tiles and I have a hard time telling land from water. Not for me!

    I agree wholeheartedly with this. It's the same as when people claimed that the Kashba improvement of Civ5 was great, because a city with Petra + Kashba was great.

    Not quite, cos he wanted the Netherlands to be toned down elsewhere. Of course maybe they have and as yet not told us...

    Even with Auckland and Huey removed, they still are very powerful compared to other UI; and hopefully don't tip the Netherlands too far the other way.

    Actually there is a valid point.. i know Civ series shows rather simplified reality and it's not accurate on many things vs real world, yet it was always bothering me why water tiles are unified across whole globe where at the same time land vary from ice and tundra, through plains and grassland to rain forest and deserts.

    It should get +- yields depending on climate plus adjust chances of getting different resources..
