Hi everybody,

Here I have an idea concerning police. When I read the Conquest's guide, I found out that there were policemen available. I was quite disapointed when I found out (I did'nt read the paragraph to the end), that they where specialists.

That's not so cool. Because you need to use a worker in order to reduce corruption. So, it also reduces potential production and commerce. My idea of those policemen was UNITS. Those units would be available only after building the police station in a city.

One policeman should have an effect (for exemple 1). Having a second one should provide an effect of 2.1 (bonus of 5%) and a 3rd one a bigger bonus (bonuses should be the same for every cities, no matter of their size). Of course, there should be a limit. The size of the city should be it (maybe the half or another fraction).

As every cities with a police station could build police units, even those with very low corruption came build ones. Those can stay in the city, but will have practicly no effect. A player should be able to transfer them to other cities (mobile units like all others). If the way of the police unit ends in a city with its limit of police units reached (cannot keep another one), this unit should stop before and ask for another way.

If a city with its limit reached, builds another police unit, this one would be automaticly ejected from that city. When you can continue to play the turn, the unit will wait for its way.


There is my idea about policemen/units. If there is somebody that would add something or criticize parts of my idea, feel totaly free.
