I'm really hoping that it's a fabrication ~ although I'm also hoping to see Mali lead by Mansa Musa!

    I don't think its real.
I very much doubt we'd get an Australasian and a Maori civ, and 2 South American civs in 1 expansion.
I wouldn't be devastated it was true though, some interesting civs there, although I'm not keen on some of the leader choices.

I'd be ecstatic with Mansa Musa and Simon Bolivar.
The Maori is probably a given, although not the leader people expected.
I'd be thrilled with the Inca and Ottomans, but not their leaders.
I'm indifferent on Hungary and Burma. I honestly would have expected Italy and Vietnam as newcomers from the respective regions.
The aboriginals and their leader don't make since and are the only ones I say are completely not true.
I'm still hoping Eleanor isn't real.
Seems weird not to include anything from North America.

Mali and Gran Colombia would be great, the Inca and the Ottomans basically have to return though I'd be less than ecstatic about their leader choices, I'd be quite hyped for Hungary, and Burma would be an interesting choice.

The Aboriginal civ doesn't make much sense though, and Eleanor as a leader would be a travesty; especially if she takes up a slot from a more significant French leader.

And like other people have been saying, the omission of a North America Civ - especially when we're still missing the Iroquois - is notable. I'm not touching the Maori because if the other leak is to be believed (and it seems legit) then they're already in.

I don't buy it. Though I don't put it past Firaxis to add Roxelana over Suleiman at this point.

My guess is no. But, if I'm wrong I'll only be disappointed if this is the last we get for VI.

I think it is real because it seems to strike the perfect balance of making an equal # of people happy and angry

IMO the presence of the Noongar on the list strongly suggests it's a fake. It's my understanding that the Noongar have taboos about naming the dead (anyone remember the Pueblo? Firaxis should remember the Pueblo :p ), and it's also my understanding that Aboriginal Australians in general are wary of media portrayals--far more so than Native Americans in North America. Also Aboriginal Australians are really stretching the definition of a civilization and are made less likely by both Australia and the Maori.

I don't think it's 100% true but I wouldn't be surprised if a few are right by luck.

I would be happy if it was true though, it's a good mix. I'm especially glad to see indiginous Australians becuase it sort of annoys me that John Curtin has a whole big landmass to himself in true-start games (even though most of it is bad desert)

I think it's real. The devs specifically said they wanted a native Australian civ to sit alongside Curtin.

Plus I've been wanting Bolivar asva leader since forever.

The Ottaman lady (can't remember the spelling) is the person who interested me the most out of all the reading.

I've started leaning more toward wanted interesting figures over great rulers for civs.

So I think this is a real list, and is be happy with 7 of the picks. Not a fan of Elanor or the Inca leader

I doubted the Chinese translator leak that confirmed Scotland and the Zulu. I came to regret that decision.

So this time, I'm all in! I will believe every leak, no matter how outlandish! Bring it on!

Do you have a citation for that? I don't recall hearing that.

She was an interesting person to be sure, but she was also a Slavic concubine--not exactly my first choice for an Ottoman ruler. :undecide: She's basically another Catherine de Medici, except that Catherine actually ruled France as regent for her sons for a period of time.

It's too Ed Beach-ish not to be true.

But she seems to be Civ 6's type.
