Poser doesn't work

I boutght a new PC and installed Poser 5, but when I double ckick its executable file Poser 5 starts for a second and the PC re-starts. The PC has power to run Poser easily (speed, RAM...) and now I have a log in for me and for each member of my falimy when the PC starts.

someone help me!!! I want to export the artworks of my Spartan Mod.

Let's see, I think I had a problem like this...

For the log in, I think it is your driver which causes that... Or some other Windows program.

As for restarting computer, hmm. I don't know

no, but I'm going to install it this week, I have XP.

Try turning your hardware acceleration right down. Right click on the desktop, choose Properties, go to the Settings tab, click Advanced, go to the Troubleshoot tab, and move the slider almost as far to the left as it will go. You'll have to move it back again if you want to watch videos, play games, etc, but if it gets Poser to work it's no big hassle.

Hmm... does Poser have technical support or something? Email them.

I had a problem with Poser 5 a while back. I went on the curious labs site and found that they'd put up a patch. I downloaded this and Poser then worked perfectly. Not necessarily technical and probably just lucky that the relevant files to sort me out were in the patch - but hey, it worked for me ...
