Ive recently run into a obscure problem with Firetuner where i could not type anything in the command line, or the command Line was just not showing. If you have tried the common fixes such as enabling tuner and the like and still not fixes anything, try this solution i spent quite some time searching on some steam forum:
1) Click the bottom white bar of the firetuner (it should be saying "Connected") then press tab
2) A blank box will appear below it out of the window. Type whatever you need. It may not show up on the command line but dont worry, its there.
3) Press enter and whatever command you entered there will run
