Yep, it's that time of year again. Time for our demogame in review (and demogames in review). You know the drill - Write down what you think was the best experience for each question.

1 - "Luckiest Break": What do you say our luckiest break has been?

Augean Stables being founded on a horse resource before it was known. (Small break, but atleast we had early horses).

2 - Lowest moment": What made it look like we were gonna lose?

Japan threatening to become a runaway civ.

3 - Turning Point: At which point (trade, war, etc.) did the game start to shift in our favor?

Claiming Rome. This allowed us to have that future Iron Works city, and after that, the really started gaining the upper hand.

4 - Point of No Return: At which point did we have the game in hand?

Once Japan's cities started falling like dominos.

5 - Epic Tales: (this one harkens back to demogames past) What was the best storyline and/or roleplay of this demogame?

...

6 - Favorite War: Which war was your favorite?

Japanese War. Quite fun watching them fall one after another.

7 - Best Quote: Yet another thing that harkens back to old demogames. Where there any quotes from the forum/chatroom that stuck out that you liked?

...

8 - Most Ingenious Strategy:

...

9 - Greatest City: What would you say the greatest city in the game is?

Civatonia! :D

And now, to wrap up the Civ3 Demogame. The Greatest Moments of the History of the Demogames! (include the demogame number, too)

1 - "Luckiest Break" ever in a demogame:

DG2, the Greek MPP deal for 255gpt.

2 - Lowest moment" ever in a demogame:

DG2, being invaded by India.

3 - The grandest Turning Point ever in a demogame:

DG5 - The Dutch War.

4 - Greatest Point of No Return in a Demogame:

DG4 - Russian War. Getting Musketeers, Cavalry AND a Golden Age on the same turn thanks to the Russians attacking a just upgraded Spear to Musketeer. We never looked back after that point.

5 - The Grandest Epic Tale in a Demogame:

DG1 - The Asphinxian Ball

6 - Favorite War in a Demogame:

DG2 - The Babylonian Wars.

7 - Best Quote Ever in a Demogame:

(it's a hard one, so many of them!)

8 - Most Ingenious Strategy in a Demogame:

DG5 - Luring the Dutch into a phony Japanese war on the other side of the continent, then attacking.

9 - Greatest City Ever in a Demogame:

DG1 - PDX.

9 - Greatest Province Ever in a Demogame:

DG1 - Asphinxia.

11 - If we had a Golden Age, which demogame(s) would our Golden Age be?

DG1, partially DG2.

12 - Overall Greatest Demogame Ever:

DG1.

Almost 6 days and not one reply... sad that everyone's lost interest in the demogame...

Lost interest?.... Please...

I wish there was more for me to do. I'm playing a fairly limited role here, but I'm entirely to blame for that.

I would have to disagree with you (probably) on all accounts. Of course my opinions would all be biased. ;)

I really didn't participate that much in the Demogame after DG2 or DG3 but I get the feeling DG1 was all around the best of them all.

Though I might be a tad biased....

BTW: The Domino War of DG1 was the best war :p hands down

2 - "Lowest moment" ever in a demogame:

When Shaitan resigned.

5 - The Grandest Epic Tale in a Demogame:

DG2 - The entire RPG forum. Now that was an epic.

6 - Favorite War in a Demogame:

DG1 - The Domino War. As Falc said, hands down...

7 - Best Quote Ever in a Demogame:

From DG7 - "What's morning wood?" - Rik Meleet

9 - Greatest City Ever in a Demogame:

Three way tie -
DG1 - Khatovar
DG3 - Gorina
DG5 - Zojoji
PDX was indeed a great city, until it was trashed by the Iroquois.

9 - Greatest Province Ever in a Demogame:

DG2 - The North Province.

11 - If we had a Golden Age, which demogame(s) would our Golden Age be?

DG2, definitely.

Remember the funeral thread? I still remember it. One of the better epics.

Yes, I do. :D It's one of my favorites. Deep in the heart of the Bavaria Castle. Those were the days of community involvement.

Shaitan once told me what a great honor it was to attend his own Wake.

Let's have a moment of silence for the king. :king:

And for the Great General Charis!

Or, as the Grey Fox would say, 'democraxy'! :D

 I don't know when I asked that and I still don't know what morning wood is....

Think about waking up with your own personal sundial. :mischief: OK, I have said too much........

Nope, unless there's enough interest (more than 5-10 people). Most people have gone on to Civ4, but there still is the Multiteam Demogame that's being played.
