IIRC, that one is fixed in 1.29 as well ;)

If you need extra help, uncheck the 'random seed' option in the startup, which will make combat reults different with every reload ;)

Blame it on the head phones :D

Still you can edit things to make cheats but i dont know exactly how:confused: You can also create your own with the editor thing iI imagine

You can make or dont make anything. I just thought it would be a little helpful for beggining civers. Of course its nothing like the unit library but it was just a thought. As I said you can make some or use some cheats also some directions on how to change the rules with the editor. I'l post some later, but for now
I gotta get some num nums:lol:

Ok im back. Now this is for all you newbs who cant figure out how to make the game easier.

1) Go into your infogrames derectory and open the civ III folder and then open Civ3mod (Make a copy before opening it)

2)Go to the top and clk on the rules icon and select edit rules button (If you have V-1.29 clk on the scenario button and select custom rules)-NOT THAT CHANGING THE RULES HAS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SCREWING UP THE GAME SO COPI YOUR CIVMOD.BIC FILE

3)clk on the citizens tab and chang the taxes, luxuries and reaserch to ten.

4)Then clk on the improvements and wonders tab, then change the wonder to the Great Library

5)select the time that it stops giving you techs to none (now you can keep up with the AI)

Hopes this help:goodjob: And if ya have any questions just post and ill answer!

If your offensive units are facing some really tough well dug in defenders, bring a few workers up behind your invading army a square or two behing or to the side of your armies. The AI just looooves workers and will bring troops outside of their defenses just to try and nab a worker. Of course you can then easily pick off their lone bandit however is most advantageous of you to do so.

Even if they capture your worker you can capture it right back, no loss. Heh.
