I'm reasonably certain that Hamburg's background can be released.
That would be swell, not to push ofcourse
Can I play as the The Nayramid Sultante?
expressing interest, here are my 5 preferable choices.
Courland, Punjab, Nepal, Tibet, and Wallachia are still available.
oh conformations have started, yah nvm then, if i got some stats for those guys i would think about it but right now, im not sure if i really want to play as those nations.
I'll take Sao Paulo.
you know, i think i will take Punjab. Lets see how this goes.
I am waiting for a response from the GM.
Sovereign Order of Santiago (Soberana Orden de Santiago)
Capital: San Hermenegildo
Grand Master (Gran Maestre): Claudio de Guadix
First Chancellor (Primer Canciller): Juan-Alfonso de Palma y Capablanca
Provinces, cities, and rivers.
edit: i am terrible at spanish.
Nice work, mad.
No, not nice. It's "Marcas" and "Nueva", not "Marchas" and "Nuevo"
You took it off my mind.
Sigh, was going to accept São Paulo, I'll keep looking though.
Could very easily be linguistic divergence.
You're Catalonian, not Spanish. The Spanish language is a tool of imperialist oppression.
You know, in Catalan this sound of c was also written as ch in the old times. I had a classmate whose family name is "Vich" for the town in central Catalonia, "Vic".
OK I'm horrible at Spanish.
I am keeping Las Marchas; that sounds cool and divergey.
I forgive you, but only cause you're the onion knight.
I've been getting a lot of questions about religion lately, so here is a quick breakdown. Please remember, this is just the primary religion in each country, which means in some places that it is still a far cry from being completely dominant. Many other religions and cults are also floating around, some from our timeline and some completely new. Also note that colonies do not necessarily follow the same religion as their mother country (in fact, more often than not, they don't).
Traditionalist Roman Catholic: Primarily Roman Catholic states that recognize the Pope in Rome as the highest religious authority.
Devolved Roman Catholic: Primarily Roman Catholic states that recognize local Cardinals and Bishops as the highest religious authorities. Most neither accept nor deny the authority of the Pope in Rome. There is a lot of variance here that could probably be further elaborated on.
Northern Catholic: States that primarily recognize the Pope (Antipope) in Stockholm, who fled there following the Dissolution Wars, as the highest religious authority and true leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
Spanish Catholic: Followed almost entirely in Castile, Spanish Catholics recognize the Antipope in Burgos as the highest religious authority and true leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
Britannic Rite and Offshoots: States that primarily follow the Church of the Britannic Rite and its various offshoots such as the Batesian and Beatifian Churches.
Roman Orthodox: States that are primarily Roman Orthodox or in communion with the Patriarch of Constantinople.
Islam: States that are primarily Islamic. All Islamic states are officially Sunni, save for Morocco, which is officially Sufi.
Hindu: States that are primarily Hindu.
Sikh: Punjab is the only officially Sikh state in the world but its population is still mostly Hindu and Muslim.
Buddhist and Confucian: States that are primarily Buddhist and/or Confucian. There is a lot of variance here that could probably be further elaborated on.
Shinto: States that are primarily Shinto.
Divine Light: Terrancia/Patagonia is a state founded for the followers of the Church of the Divine Light, an obscure offshoot of Roman Catholicism present mostly throughout the Southern Cone of South America.
Haitian Voodoo: Followed primarily in Haiti with a few followers throughout the Caribbean and Louisiana, Haitian Voodoo mixes elements of Christianity with Native African religions. It is more organized in this timeline and even has its own Pope.
