Sowhen Bhall fell, the precept of fire became corrupt, and it stopped helping the just burn the wicked and started acting like more traditional fire. So then what was Entropy mana like before Agares fell?

On a mildly related note, what would spirit mana be like if Sirona (somehow) fell? Laroth comes to mind, but he's more about bad use for a good thing.

Actually, if Sirona did fall, (big if, but yeah.) what would she become? At first I found the idea of an evil Sirona and her antics somewhat amusing, but I don't really know. Goddess of Vengeance? Of unforgivable evil?

Oh, and by the way, there are TvTropes links in this post. Watch out for those.

Agares precept is more properly described as Despair, and before his fall it was Hope. It would involve vision of the goals towards which one should strive, a longing to achieve them, and enough optimism to keep working towards no matter how difficult the task seemed. When his corruption was just beginning his sphere involved false hope, a similar striving towards goals that were doomed to failure. This false hope still remains at the heart of the precept; it is the knowledge that this hope is false that turns it to despair.

Spirit mana is focused on altruism and compassion. A fallen Sirona would likely show great compassion for the guilty and allow no punishment for misdeeds. She would likely make us believe that we deserve no better than anyone else and condemn us for striving to make our own lives better. Rather than feeling others' pain and working to alleviate it, she would cause such emotional contagion that we cannot seperate our own emotions from others. We would get caught up in the feelings of a crowd and go along with the herd rather than thinking for ourselves. We would wallow in our own and others' suffering, and feel guilt for making others feel guilt for making us feel guilt, magnifying our angst ad infinitum. Selflessness would go too far and cause the loss of personal identity as we strive to serve the goals of the collective, whatever those may be.

Doesn't this sound a bit too much like the Precept of Life? :p

Does Laroth have anything to do with such philosophy?

As usual, thanks for any answer.

This leads me to an interesting follow-up question: what if Junil fell? If a fallen god keeps the same basic precept, but corrupted in some way, would Junil become a god of laws that are so powerfully and fanatically followed that it's never even considered whether those laws are actually good laws, and that exceptions are never made, even in cases were breaking the law was justified or even the only moral thing to do (killing in self-defence is the best exaple that comes to mind right now, even though it's a pretty bad example)? Because the thing is that the Order already seems to be like that. Is it possible that Junil has fallen already, but no-one, including him, has realised it?

Or would a fallen Junil be more like a god of laws that protect the wicked and punish the good?
