The premiers of Saskatchewan and Manitoba are betting on the outcome of Sunday's matchup between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Saskatchewan's Brad Wall and Manitoba's Gary Doer have agreed that some time after the game, they'll meet at the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border and unveil a sign on the Trans-Canada Highway.

The sign will display the winner of the game, the first Grey Cup matchup between the CFL teams.

"Imagine for the Labour Day weekend as all those Bomber fans come over the border and are welcomed to Saskatchewan by the sign that reminds them of the Grey Cup," Wall said. "Not that we're taking anything for granted."

Doer, meanwhile, insisted that Winnipeg is going to win the cup.

"The winning team will be allowed to put a sign on the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border on the highway saying 'Welcome to Manitoba, Home of the Grey Cup Champions' and the losing premier will have to witness this humiliating event," Doer said.

He added that there will be enough room on the sign to add the Bombers' future wins.

Wall countered that he hoped the Manitoba Bisons win the Vanier Cup Friday, so "Doer at least gets to see one of his teams win."

The Grey Cup game held in Toronto begins at 4:30 p.m. CT (5:30 p.m. ET)

I dont see it as being THAT humiliating, BUT it is funny that they are willing to do that, over the grey cup...

Go RIDERS! You didnt beat the argos, and beat the lions. that gets you in my good books.

We need to fortify the Saskatchewan border. Because once the Riders win the Grey Cup, all hell will break loose.
