Preparations for Zero Hour (Sept 24, 00:00 UTC)

How is everyone in "Rest-of-World" planning to spend their first hours of CiV-ing? For me, the game is going to unlock at 2 AM since I live in Sweden, and therefore I've stocked up on supplies to last me (and my wife) through the night, over the day and possibly into the next night.

Needless to say, the only reason I'm leaving my computer for the next 20 hours or so after the unlock is because of toilet breaks

Well I have to wait until make girlfriend says "bye" for a trip to her parents home tomorrow noon, but the then there will be a kind of whole weekend session.

I'm thinking about Pizza, some beers and chips.

I'll always be amazed by you guys who were able to lure your wives/GFs into playing Civilization, or even better : meet a woman who was ALREADY playing Civilization. It's just... wow. I envy you.

On topic : I didn't plan anything, because I try to make myself not to play this night, and sleep instead. Needless to say, it will be tough.

Damn I already played the demo, over and over (repeat as necessary) and I just can't wait to get my hands on my copy.
I don't have it in hand yet, but will rush to the store tomorrow morning to get my fix. It's worth the 10 euros save though on the pre order

Well, I've been working the whole day and when it unlocks I will have been awake for 16 hours already, so I'm thinking I'm going to need all that coke to stay awake

I didn't have to do much to get her interested. She watched me playing a couple of times and got into it all by herself. Nowadays we almost always play together.
