"Preparing to launch" bug

I believe this is a Civ 5 bug because I tried to launch my other games and it worked fine. When I try to launch my Civ 5, it opens up the "Preparing to launch" tab/window, and just stays there. It's not running in the background, it's not taking forever to load, (because if it was loading my computer would make some sounds and it'd show the loading cursor which then i know it's starting up) and I don't know what the problem is. I also have over 250 hours on it and it hasn't happened once before, this is the first time this has happened. If somebody could help me that'd be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
