I anticipated Russia's invasion since day 1. However, we got some productive cooperation in place for 7 years now, so I thought Christos wouldn't be willing to shoot himself in the foot for the sake of involving himself into yet another (undeclared) war just after his own political establishment almost rebelled against him after a similar enterprise less than a year ago. He's had two Tsars assassinated in less than 5 years, so his act of war is almost suicidal for the stability of his regime.

As for us, we've been prepared for that and many other scenarios. It's not gonna be an easy war, but I'm not concerned at all regarding its result. Finally, my state will be able to do what I've designed it for: kill armed humans.

If you mean that huge offensive slur of a graffiti that the King left in on the palace walls just before evacuating, we have found it. Very, very mature, Your Majesty...

If you've pushed in to Apeldoorn, I can't imagine I'll like what's coming in ten hours.

Or I just chalk it up to German domestic propaganda.

Well, we all get some unpleasant blows coming. I think this year will be fairly even in our boxing match.

"Keep calm and pull more surprises." I like it.

We'll keep that German propaganda coming as well. We churn out plenty of it per turn, I guess.

I really need to work on that. I've got some ideas kicking around for fluff stories, but I just need to find the time to sit down and crank some out. You guys do a great job on the world building, so kudos.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to hearing more British stuff. I was playing around with an idea of making annual reviews of various military forces, starting with the GFA's and then proceeding with other countries. Hope to cover GB some day, too. If I do that, I'll make sure to send you a first draft, to get your edits if needed.

I'd be glad to take a look when/if you get around to it! Would it be in character, from a German perspective? I think including that bias might be interesting.

Yeah, most likely it'd be the view of some East-German officers.

Fun fact: Russian invasion of Germany is codenamed "Operation Barbarossa" :D

Also, Ahigin, the Russo-German bromance was great while it lasted. :)

Also, technically it is not a war between Russia and Germany. The Tsar of Russia is grandson of the last Kaiser and thus the legal Kaiser of Germany. As such, he is only claiming back his heritage. :king:
