prevent thread reset?

can i do anything against all threads resetting themselves to "no new posts" sometime after midnight each day?
i'm too dumb to find an option controlling that behaviour.

Well, it's cookie based, not time based. Once 15 minutes have passed from your last forum action (thread loading, new page, etc.) it resets.

To get around this, make sure you're hitting a new page every 14 minutes or so. Avant, my browser, has an auto-refresh option, so when I know I'm going to be away I'll have a page open that refreshes every 10 minutes or so.
