Do we really need such detail.. I think a naval quantity and quality score works easier within a NES world

Well, in this era, the types of ships become very important, so we should differentiate the numbers of torpedo boats, cruisers, etc.

However, differentiating between just ships and battleships might be the easiest while at the same time highlighting the importance of battleships.

Perhaps so.. its just vry easy to get bogged down having multimany different units making it very time consuming to mod

Yeah, thats very true. A lot of the old NESes set in this time just differentiated between ship squadrons and battleships, and that seemed to work fine enough.

Sure, I do not hear similar calls for your ousting a_propagandist, so you can have the UK, although I will remind everyone that I will not allow acting OOC to ruin this NES.

Yeah, I was never considering doing into too much detail with the navy (see what i did with the army?), and the squadron-battleship system will work fine. Thanks Feanor for the site, I will start adding navies to the stats soon.

Italy has ambitions for a colonial empire in North Africa, bringing it in conflict with France and the aging Ottoman Empire.

Tsar Alexander II famously liberated the Serf Population 20 years ago, but there is still displeasure amongst minority nationalities and the lower classes, and Russia is becoming forced to adopt some pretty authoritarian measures to quell revolutionaries and secret societies.

What is "PoPNES"? It will be NoPNES II: (Whatever). I will continue doing stats over the next couple of days, and they should be done by around wensday, at which point I will also clean up the rules a little, and post the main thread. I will think of a new title untill then, people should feal free to send me their ideas...
