Both look really good. The Althistory seems really fun, too. Unfortunately, I've joined a bunch of NESes recently and I'm not even sure I will have time for those. I will be actively lurking however ;) :)
Oh come on, if I do the alt hist you could have a grand old time fighting Das over France. ;) I mean, if the travesty of an English ruled Paris isn't enough to get you going, I don't know what is.

Now that I am back I intend to buckle down and get this NES off the ground as soon as possible. At this point I am fairly certain that I will be doing YosefNES, but I still welcome input. Also, if anyone is willing to donate their time, I could use some help doing sub-national regions in the Timurid empire and in the Commonwealth of Lithuania-Novgorod and doing special cities in China and India. Soon, I may be looking for help with stats, so if anyone wishes to volunteer, that would be lovely.

EDIT: The front page has been edited to reflect the changes that have taken place over the last seven months.

If possible I would take the Italian State...

I would like to be the orange nation in the middle of Africa

I'll take the empire of Nepal.

I call Portugal, though I also note they should have found Brazil by now (its pretty much an inevitablity after the cape is passed, even more so now they know the new world is there).

Although I don't think we are supposed to be claiming nations yet I will show my interest in something German.

Thank you. All should take note of this.

Can I reserve Commonwealth of Lithuania-Novgorod?
Absolutely.

Sorry Luckymoose.

Very true. I will see what I can do about that discrepincy.

As to a reservation, I am afraid that I cannot give it to you (see the front page for a list of those with the right to claim reservations). However, it is likely that I will require "application" for Portugal in order to make sure that it goes to an experienced NESer, which would definately give you an advantage. Otherwise, its first-come, first-serve once the NES is started.

My reviewing and critiquing of the timeline early on, in addition to our long discussions on Iberia count for nothing:(

Swiss, I'll give you and Dachs preference in case of a fight over a country, but not reservations. Those given reservations put a lot of work into helping the development of this TL. In any case, why don't you contact me and let you know what strikes you fancy?

Btw, still working on those borders....I think I may crack open my Europa Universalis Poland-Lithuania file and try transferring those over :p

As posted in Alternate History Thread, reserving Ming Dynasty China. I can't really trust alex994 to do it justice, now, can I? ;)

EDIT: Nevermind, literacy saves me again. I'm definitely interested though. Though I hope my pre-existing reservation of the Irish state still stands :p.

EDIT AGAIN: Ah, right, YosefNES. Still sad over the loss of IsrNES though. Reservation will come when the thread gets up.

I'll reserve Mughal or the Turks, if possible.

It's not.

You know, out of all of your bad habits, I think your unwillingness to read the thread is perhaps the worst of them all. Luckily for you it's also the easiest to fix :p

Thanks. That should probably work.
