Private Message Character Limit

In the NESing forum, we have players that like to send very long PM's.

Since the character limit for posts was recently expanded, could the same be done for private messages? Thanks for the help.

The current limit is 10,000, which is a pretty decent amoutn. Is this a significant problem?

When I NESed more actively than I do now, I spent two to three PMs on orders any given update. Never less than that.
